(no subject)
Just back from our neighbor's house...her middle son turned 16 and asked if we wanted to join them for his birthday dinner. Met a cool guy and his wife there, he plays in a band called Slo-motion http://www.slomotionband.com/home.cfm and I think we're going to go see him on Feb 3rd. They play a variety of music and I had a blast talking music and cooking with him. Hell, he might be the one bringing the homemade sangria to one of our summer Q fests with any luck! Had more fun than I anticipated and got home about 9pm to chill out for a while before bed...tomorrow I have a lot planned with errands, DBP is coming here to hook something up for Sue in her room then we're supposed to go over to someone's house for dinner...Plus I still have a ton of crap to ahul out of my room from constructing the bookshelves and setting up my minifridge. Yup, Its official! I have a mini fridge in my room so I no longer have to run downstairs when I' m up here and get thirsty! I'm very happy since they took half of my salivary glands out and left me with permanent dry mouth! I kind of feel lazy but otherwise I spend more time runing up and down the stairs to get drinks than I do upstairs enjoying them. Now, I'm set! :-) I think I'll hang out in here a lot more now that its getting organized and I can quench my thirst :-)
