Don't like leafy green veg but want to get the health benefits? (or like it but want an easy way to include more in your diet without feeling like a rabbit? Or want an easy way to get more veg into your kids?)
Some of the other people on the same low-sat-fat diet for MS as me have introduced me to the concept of green smoothies. Theory is, make a smoothie as normal in a blender, but instead of using all fruit, 40% of the ingredients are leafy green veg (kale and spinach recommended particularly often). You might need to blend it slightly longer to get it smooth.
Simple as that. The key point is you can't taste the veg, it tastes just like a normal fruit smoothie. Don't believe me? Give it a go...
