Summary: Yesung is the most spoiled, popular, rich person on campus. He and his boyfriend Yunho are the perfect couple and the only thing Siwon can do is watch from far away. But one a rainy day, when he gets back from work, he sees something that changes is life forever
"So...are you guys dating?" Sooyoung asked as she walked next to her brother while both were looking around campus. Siwon was looking to Yesung from far away. He didn't told the older man to leave or anything like that. They were still both living in the same apartment and treating each other like before. No matter what Siwon did or thought, he couldn't bring himself to hate Yesung. That was something he couldn't do no matter how much he tried. It was something impossible. If that happened, Sooyoung would get fat after eating her 5plate. And that never happened! The more she ate, it seemed she would get even skinnier. She was a case to be studied, for sure. "I guess so." Siwon answered while he took a sip of his coffee and continued looking to the older man who was walking towards them, with a blank expression. Yunho was no where to be seen, rumors said he had gone to Europe to study law or something like that. Siwon just ignored but at the same time he was sure the older one would leave as far as possible from him and Yesung for as long he could. Probably a life time, if it depended o Yunho. But he wasn't sure and he honestly didn't cared about it. "You guess so? What the hell Siwon? First you almost cry because you can't have him, and now that yo do, you act like you do't care?" Sooyoung asked, after eating some of her cookies like a mad woman. Siwon just rolled his eyes and continued looking to the older man that was walking closer and closer.
He didn't wanted to tell his sister what happened days ago, and he thanked that Victoria had actually allowed Sooyoung to sleep in her small apartment for as long she wanted. She saw Yesung seating next to Siwon and smiled at both of them. She grabbed her things and glared to her brother while she smiled to Yesung. "I'm leaving, unlike you, I'm not a proper genius and I've to study!" She waved goodbye to both men and left them behind. She was sure something had happened, but she also knew her brother wouldn't tell her no matter what. So she would rather stay quiet and hope that her brother would tell her everything without her needing to ask. "Your sister is really nice..." Yesung spoke and Siwon looked at him from the corner of his eyes. "She's alright." An awkward silence took over both. Siwon continued drinking his coffee while Yesung continued looking down his hands without saying a word. He just didn't know what to say, but he knew he had to say at least an 'I'm bored' kind of words. Anything at all! He turned his head to Siwon and saw the taller man getting up. He was leaving! He had to do something. Without thinking, Yesung grabbed Siwon's arm and the younger looked down to him, surprised with the reaction he got from the older.
"Don't...Don't leave! Please!" Yesung said, his voice craking more than one, but the younger didn't know what to say. A part of him wanted, needed to be away from Yesung, even if it was just for two seconds! He had to! But another, didn't wanted to leave no matter what. He fought so hard to be with the other man, he worked so hard, only to realize it was based on a lie, but honestly, even thought it hurt him, and it hurt a lot, he didn't really cared. Yesung was more than willing to be with Siwon, so why couldn't he stop being stubborn and both would be together, like Siwon always wanted? "I've to apologize...again!" Yesung spoke and looked right into Siwon's eyes. "I know what I did was wrong, and for no means you shoul forgive me!" He continued speaking and the younger one could swear he had stopped hearing. The only thing he could hear was a small bip, nothing else. Bip after bip, and even thought he was seeing Yesung's lips move non stop, he could hear a thing. He was starting to panic. He just heard that infernal bip and nothing else. The stupid bip that was getting weaker and weaker by the moment. He covered his ears and started looking to the floor, his eyes wide and he started feeling dizzy, almost losing is balance. "Siwon, if you don't want to hear me, you can leave." Yesung said, seeing the way Siwon was reacting. He was starting to think the younger was ignoring him.
But then he saw Siwon falling on the floor and he couldn't help but be sure something was wrong. He looked down to the younger one and saw him almost crying. He didn't know what was happening, but then he saw Siwon calming down, and take slow, deep breaths. Yesung knelt next to Siwon and saw he had small tears running down his face and felt that something was incredibly wrong with Siwon. He grabeed the younger man's hands and made him face him. "What's wrong Siwon?" Yesung asked with a soft tone of voice, not understanding what was happening, but he knew Siwon had an answer for it. Of course he did. Siwon always had an answer for everything, so this couldn't be any different. Without saying a word, Siwon got up and took a couple of steps backwards, making Yesung even more worried. he got up as well but he saw Siwon running away from him, and the more he walked to be next to Siwon, the more the younger ran. "SIWON!!" Yesung shouted in a way that made half of the campus look in his direction but the taller continued ignoring him and continued running. He didn't even knew why he was running! He just felt so scared when that happened to him! He didn't know why he was acting like that. Since he was so focused on himself, Siwon didn't noticed his surroundings.
He felt something against his back, and he lost balance, falling on the floor. Then he heard a loud scream and everything started to be like slow motion. Siwon couldn't even talk. He got up, feeling his bodie heavier than ever and even thought he was running, he couldn't even see straight. Everything around him stopped.He knelt in front of the silver car and he could feel that he was going to die, right there, not wanting to believe what was happening. "Yesung! Yesung! Open your eyes!" He wasn't asking, he was demanding! He was demanding the older man to open his eyes, to stop being unconsious and to smile, saying that he was doing exactly the same thing he did weeks ago. But nothing. Siwon couldn't even feel his breath. Nothing. He heard someone call an ambulance but he didn't cared. He didn't cared that his clothes were starting to get full of blood, that his hands were shacking, and that his face was full of tears. It was all his fault. If he didn't ran away, if he hadn't freaked out because of his hearing problem...nothing of that would be happening! Nothing! It was all his fault, and he had to live with it for the rest of his life!
"Siwon!" He heard his name being called. He looked to the side and saw his sister running towards him and held him in a tight hug. She could feel her brother shiver under her arms and he knew he had been crying non stop for the past two hours, since he got to the hospital. "What happened?" Sooyong asked concerned and her brother just looked at her, fresh tears forming in his eyes. "He wanted to talk...but I stopped hearing him...and I freaked out, I didn't wanted him to find out that one of these days I might go def..." He made a pause and Sooyong continued listening to her brother with full attention. It was no secret that Siwon never had the best hearing on the planet. On the contrary. Since he was a kid he had serious problems about it, and doctors told him to be in quiet places all the time, but he would ignore and would keep working on that bar, making it worst for him, day by day. Sooyoung tried more than once to convince her brother to find another job, but as always Siwon was too loyal to the owner of the club, especially because it was him who took care of them since they were kids. He was their second dad. "I ran away, and I ignored when he called me...the next thing I know I'm being pushed and he on the floor...bleeding...not moving or breathing..." Sooyoung couldn't possible imagine what her brother was feeling! She couldn't even think how heart broken he was and how guilty he was. She knew it wasn't his fault! Of course it wasn't, Siwon, not even mad would wish something like that, and he couldn't predict something like that.
Slowly, she rested her head on the strong shoulder of her twin and took his hand gently, so Siwon would know she was there for him, no matter what happened in the future. After all, they just had each other. If they couldn't trust each other, they couldn't trust anyone. "He's going to be fine. You'll see. In no time he'll be next to you kissing you, and begging you to take care of him." She could feel her brother smile against her head. "And when that happens, I'm moving out permantly." He tried to laugh, he really did, because it was funny, but all he could do was smile and kiss her head like she would do to him when he was scared. Both stood in the same position, not moving a muscle at first. Both were almost falling asleep, until they heard steps towards them. They got up and they saw a doctor walking in their direction, his expression blank. Siwon was sure doctors took acting classes before talking to patients or something like that. "You're here for Mr Kim?" He asked and both nodded. "Yes. He's is boyfriend and I'm his boyfriends sister." Sooyoung answered, not even allowing Siwon to talk. He knew if it was him doing the talking, he wouldn't manage to say a 'yes'! He was that nervous. The doctor saw the nerves on Siwon's face and how he needed an answer before he exploded in anticipation. "...He's going to be just fine. He was very lucky indeed! The impact just gave him deep scratches...nothing else." He gave a small smile to Siwon who was feeling his legs shacking but he felt such a relieve he couldn't even express it. He felt so much better that he could swear he was walking on clouds. "He will need to stay here for at least a week...But he's a strong one, he'll recover in an instant." Siwon just nodded and continued smiling. Now, it was his turn to apologize. Apologize and make everything better.
