I love the way Philip pronounces it especially ... BEGINS NIGHT-o <3 Me too, waiting for the Movie Core, hope Shoutaro and Philip get plenty of screentime and that is is not all about Skull. I like Skull and all the rest but feel that it just seems unfair that there hasn't been a movie or even that many episodes that focused entirely on Shoutaro's background.
That's it, can't help feeling Skull is stealing their show somehow. Which is a bit unfair for a posthumous character as you say. Everyone, from Akiko to Terui to Philip to Shroud and even to some extent Jinno has had their background story, why haven't they done one for Shoutaro? I hope they will do one like in the Den-O trilogy in the future. (I am curious to go and see how Ankh pronounces "ice candy" now!!)
The movie poster makes it look like the movie is all about Skull - if this was supposed to be W x OOO and that was the W part, then it's just so unfair on Shoutaro and Philip. What I meant about Akiko having a background story is that at least we know where she hailed from and who her father is (although I always wondered why there was hardly any mention of her mother throughout the series) and now they will explain about her mother in the movie. But we didn't get any references to Shoutaro's past - how he came about being in the agency or his family. They better be saving that for a movie!! *shakes fist*
Episode 2 for ice lolly? Definitely want to hear him say that.
If I'm not mistaken, there is Akiko playing her mother in the movie, so there will be some filling out of Akiko's background, which is why I feel that Shoutaro has been hard done by. The movie seems to be placing a lot more emphasis on Skull/Shroud/Terui+Akiko's wedding even. btw, LOL at Ankh's "fake" background. Think there are rumours of the next movie being about Terui too. Much as I like him, when will it be Shoutaro's story?
