I feel something.

I turn around, and there’s nobody behind my back - just an empty corridor and locked doors. I peer into twilight. I close my eyes and open them again, and nothing changes. There’s nobody, but I feel the same.

Someone is watching me. And I’m sure, it’s not accidental. Someone’s stalking me.

And I feel it.

…

She’s there.

There’s an empty corridor, rough walls and closed doors. And she’s there, she’s strained. She stands there peering into the darkness. She’s dressed in white smock, and her hair is dark. She’s younger than I thought. She’s a little less self-collected and a little more defenseless.

And yes - that’s better.

I’m watching her.
