I have tried not to use this journal as a way to document my experiences...it's more of a way for me to express my thoughts. I'm going to take another departure from this line and talk about how my day progressed today. I enjoyed my last concert with him as well. He spent a lot of time joking about his career... how he's now coasting on 10+ (some many +'s) year old songs.

I'm surprised he did "We Didn't Start the Fire." I thought he hates that song...

that is an incredible dream, one which i share. being on a stage and someday being able to stop singing as the crowd sings it to you. i can only imagine what that must feel like... the first time... every time.

or just as good, i'm listening to a pearl jam concert i went to on my mp3 player. eddie is playing a song solo and the crowd starts to clap along to the tune. he stops to inform the crowd that they are all clapping off beat. "it's nice to have the support, but we like the support to be, you know, on time".
