End of Holidays post
Although it sure doesn't feel like it, I had a really fruitful holiday wasting my time. I originally wanted to study more bio and revise last semester's work. Write notes for my beloved genetics module. (<3 the tryptophan attenuation thing and the phage lambda genetic switches.) Study jap to take JLPT1 this year (guess I won't be taking it after all. It certainly is a nice thought considering my 8 modules this semester.) でも先生、申し訳ありません。結局思うとおりに怠け者になってしまいました。今年はJLPT１が受けられなさそうですね。でも、諦めずに勉強しようと思います。 And besides cloning, I did cell culture and western blot, and had my own cell pets (they are very cute <3) and made a lot of mistakes. And learnt lots of stuff. And made my own journal club presentation (drosha and DGCR8!) and learnt how to read research papers (finally! That is an important skill.) I learnt that it is important to not panic and read the paper a few times. Not to be afraid of what you don't know (there's always Google and Wikipedia, your best friends.) Meeting up with friends (I remember the mountain of prawn shells that Faithie and I made) and eating dango (that's the first time I ate mango-flavoured dango, Qiu.)

Oh gosh, I read so much trashy shoujo. What is up with me? Almost everything up there is trashy shoujo. (I just got kind of addicted.) Not everything is nice though. But HYD was not bad (surprisingly). Erk. Why did I waste so much time reading trashy shoujo?
I think I must have left out quite a few that I watched/read. That explains why I didn't study, huh? But I guess it was a nice holiday which I did loads of trashy things (yeah I know my list contains only manga and anime. And trashy shoujo, no doubt.)
It was a holiday well wasted. I can't say it was well spent, though.
