Holiday Traditions
My wonderful and sometimes eccentric roommate onesoul introduced me to a new tradition over the holidays last year; one that we shall practice in a week when we decorate our place with lights and sparkly things. This tradition must begin with a well rounded supply of holiday candles depicting people or animals or fanciful creatures. We then shall set out all of last years candles (in order to show the new candles their fate) and burn off the intact faces of any candle with eyes. Sick...a bit...but so much more interesting than only baking cookies.
I am going to start yet another slightly disturbing tradition this year. The surprise was delivered yesterday and is in the fridge. I haven't mentioned it yet, but I think we will have to eat some faces Orphan's Log while we burn the faces this year!
