fic: Sheldon-centric WIP
Started this over a month ago but couldn't get it going. I was toying with the idea that Sheldon had been kissed before, more than once, but never had an experience that sparked a desire to do it again with that same person. So, here, it's him and Lalita Gupta. The ideas here kind of evolved into "The Caffeine High Corollary."

She hadn't intended to kiss Sheldon, at least, not on the lips. But, as she leaned in, closing the space between them across the front of her car, she remembered Rajesh's obnoxious reminders of how fat she had been. She tilted her head, altering the trajectory of her mouth, and her lips landed against the corner of his mouth.
His lips slid across his mouth as he turned his head, and then she was kissing him full on. She pulled away after a moment and looked into his face. Even in the shadows cast by the yellow glow of the parking lot lights, she could make out the curious expression on his face. Like he wasn't sure what had just happened. Confused.
“I'm sorry,” she said, “It doesn't mean anything. I mean, I simply wanted to thank you for a wonderful evening. You've been so nice, you know. And, uhm . . .” Her cheeks were burning now as she looked down at her hands and quickly back at his face.
“Oh,” Sheldon croaked, finally. “Well. Alright.”
"Well, thank you for the stimulating evening." He unbuckled his seat belt and exited the car.
