Twelve Days Of Teyla at
teylafen September!
We're looking for people who love Teyla and will create Teyla-centric fic, art, and vids in the last two weeks of September (15th to 30th).
I'm signed up for this, and my post date is Monday.
I have yet to start on my piece, so I have to hustle and get it done between now (Saturday afternoon) and Sunday, since I won't have any time to really work on it Monday. The dilemma comes because I switched days with another poster about a little over a week ago, and Sept. 15th has crept up on me.
So, yeah. . .I guess I'll get to drawing now.
. . . . .
I just wanted to say how overwhelmed I am at the positive response from "
It Takes Time to Get It Right." It's pretty amazing actually, as it's my best reviewed fic so far, with most of the reviewers leaving comments that consisted of whole, compound sentences, rather than simply saying, "Oh, that was so cute" or "Yay! Reni fluff!" Those are nice responses as well, but I like to get more indepth responses. I got that with this fic, and it's pretty awesome.
I would really like more feedback on "
Left Behind." However, people are still adding it to their Story Alerts on
ff.net, so that's something at least. I figure they're just waiting to see how it will end before they comment, if ever. *shrug*
. . . . .
I rewatched
Sky High a few days ago, and rediscovered that I totally ship Warren/Laya. The dymanic of these two characters has a lot of similarities to Ronon/Keller (and
Steven Strait is smokin' on the same level as Jason Momoa, a model-turned-actor*), so . . . yeah. Anyway, I
found a writer that portrays the pairing in a way that I enjoy, and I'm working through her fic at the moment.
. . . . .
Ok, I'm going to work on my 12 Days of Teyla entry for reals now. *waves*

*I was chatting with a RL guy friend of mine, and I think he asked me if I was going to see 10,000 B.C., maybe mentiong something about how bad the trailer sucked, and he was thought Steven Strait was Jason Momoa, because before I had sent him links to the character page on the stargate website, for reference when he was reading my fic. ROFL.
