The Sims 2: Atlantis

As requested by

I used to play The Sims 2 quite a lot. I was reminded of that fact after my little desktop meme. Before I stopped playing, I had created a neighborhood full of Stargate Atlantis characters.

One of the drawbacks of The Sims is that when you create a household, everyone has to has the same last name. So, for all the characters to retain their last names, I had to set them up on separate lots and build houses for them. I created five separate households: Dex, Sheppard, Emmagan, Kenmore (Wraith), and Keller.

The Kenmore household includes (left to right) Michael, Queen, Todd, and Ellia.

Some interesting things happen when you let the Sims go about their business. Teyla and Michael Kenmore seemed to naturally hit it off. She even dreamed about him while napping.

It took a lot more work to get Teyla and John to meet and chat:

And then the neighbors came by to greet the new people. Ronon is challenged by the Wraith Queen to a most respected form of combat: gaming. Teyla and her father (the old guy in the background) cheer him on.

So, yes. I rock the fandom that seriously. I still need to take some caps of Keller. I wanted to create a house with Carson, Rodney and Radek. That would have been awesome, but I may wait to get the Sims 2 University Expansion Pack so I can just move them all in together and retain their names. I'm kind of obsessive like that.
