I left Berkeley, incase you didn’t know, June 30 hopped onto a plane and arrived into LA about 24 hours before leaving for Chicago. My family and I arrived into Chicago late Sunday night exhausted from traveling all day (no matter how much I travel I still don’t get the concept of how you can be tired after sitting on a plain for 5 hours, your just sitting) anywho… Monday was nice we went to the Art Institute of Chicago saw fire works (make sure to keep count) on Navy Peer. Tuesday we had our first taste of real Chicago deep dish pizza (I still like zacheries better) then we went on an architecture tour on a boat (it was fabulous highly recommend it to anyone who comes to Chicago) the tour was over around 3:30 and I ran down to a sports bar to catch the last 10 mins of the football game and OVERTIME (omg if you didn’t see that game you totally missed it) needless to say ITALIA see you Sunday in the finals!! Tuesday was the 4th of July so needless to say Fireworks. For dinner we had a huge stake dinner omg great food. Wednesday was the Museum of Science and Industry. It is one of those museums where its fun to go as a kid (or with kids) cause its an exploring museum where you touch everything and see chicks hatch. However there was a really cool exhibit on da vinci’s inventions (did you know he invented the life-preserve and the parachute) that night my fathers friends brother picked us up at the museum in his 67 grand prix and drove us around the city (top down) we ended up on his boat had a real Chicago dinner and watched the fireworks from his boat. Thursday we spent exploring. There are 3 free shuttles which take you to the touristy spots so we hopped on two of em and drove around the city stopping at random places. One of the random stops was the taste of Chicago. It was a HUGE food tasting festival where numerous (decent) restaurants had booths set up for the enormous crowds to sample their cuisine (mmmm fried bread). For dinner more deep dish, mmmm cheezy! Today (Friday) we went shopping (got some goodies) tonight we went to the white sox v. RED SOX game um guess who won?! Oh yeah Red Sox 7-2!! So I didn’t bring any red to wear to the game so I bought a cheep red hat and drew a B on it… can you say best hat ever?! PS after the game more fireworks. Anywho we are leaving tomorrow and im starting work Monday (horray?) at least I can say I had a very busy summer.

So who was keeping track… yes that right over the course of 5 days in Chicago I saw fireworks on 4 separate occasions. And ITALIA won!!
