He walked away. He simply walked away from me.
I was the one who hugged him. I was the one who kissed him. He didn't do anything. He didn't say any word. He just stayed there waiting for me to open the door and let him go.
I couldn't say a word. Even when I was with my mouth open I couldn't say anything. No, there was nothing to be said.
After a hug that lasted some minutes I was almost crying, but I knew that he had to go.
I kissed his cheek. I couldn't kiss him on that place anymore.
It was a cold day. Our hands were frozen by the cold wind that passed by us. I'd like to stay with our hands like that forever. I wanted to be able to feel his skin for longer, but I knew that was impossible.
I started opening the door, you didn't move. You knew that you just should go, when I let go your hand.
When the door was fully open and when I wasn't holding your hand anymore, you left.
Without any word, without any feeling and without any pain.
You never looked back. You never stopped walking. You never said goodbye.
You just left me there. Without you, without the love once I tought I had and without an answer for all the questions you left.
When my eyes couldn't see you anymore, when I couldn't see your back anymore, the only thing that I had to know that this did really happen was the footprints you left on the snow.
I stayed there for... I don't remember how long. At some point the tears I was holding fell on my face.
The pain that I was feeling increased, because my tears froze. It started snowing. Again.
