What is wrong with women?!?
I have had it up to my eyeballs with grown women who can't seem to act their age! Apparently I made a mistake by joining my local MOMS Club. I attended my first playgroup last friday, and I readily admit to not being much a a playgroup person...I'm just not a joiner, but tonight I got an email from another mom in the group, telling us (it went to everyone) that someone in the group had called the club president to say she just "wasn't going to work out" in the playgroup, and to ask her not to come anymore! I was shocked. First of all this is not an exclusive, invitation only kind of group. We all paid our yearly dues to join, so where do they get off telling her not to come anymore? Second, she had been to ONE playgroup, how can you possibly know whether she is going to work out or not? But what really takes the cake for me is that this person didn't even have the balls and talk to this mom on her own. She didn't approach her and try to work things out, she resorted straight to tattling and getting her removed from the group! And our esteemed president isn't woman enough to tell this mom to work out her own problems, or at least attempt to! This is supposed to be a support group for stay-at-home moms, where is the suport here? God, I am so mad I am seeing red!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
