wedding tips not to forget

I posted this in several wedding and bride communities that I was a part of when we were planning our crowning and reception. I thought I may as well post it here, too, for those who may find it useful. :)

As far as the gifts go, I've always heard it's poor manners to bring the gift to the wedding unless you live a good distance away. If you're able to drop the gift by the parents' house or somewhere the people will get them, then don't bring it to the wedding.

Also, I like the idea you've mentioned before that people do one of two things when wrapping gifts/cards:

put a card inside the wrapping with the gift giver's name OR
mention the present in the card ie "congratulations on your big day. I wish you all the best. I hope this toaster will be put to good use in a happy, joyful household."

One last tip -- make sure that all necessary items make it to the wedding/reception. Put things in the trunk the night or even days ahead of time if you know you want it to be at the event. Have a list of items that must be brought, and have a designated person who will check the list off in the morning. That way, you will avoid mad scramble dashes to pick up forgotten items.

Even if it makes Just one in ten not return that is still a lot of money the country has lost, But it is much higher than that a survey that never got released revealed that nearly of departing tourists said they will never come back and of them stated racism as one of the main reasons this is shocking it is something that needs putting right for the sake of the Philippines not for me or any other we can go home if we want the poor have to live in the poverty its keeping them in.

One might make a lot of money one year, but tourism is an ongoing business and the more goodwill we generate by giving people good value the more we stand a chance of having people come back to visit us again.
