Super Mario Bros Z and Project Chaos

So lately I've been spending a lot of time poking around on the internet, and at some point it occured to me to look up Super Mario Bros Z, which my friend Alex back in Colorado showed me. So I looked it up and damn if it isn't the best little sprite flash cartoon ever. I got up to episode Six when I heard the music from the Doomsday Zone of Sonic 3+Sonic and Knuckles and I was like "SWEET". It was different though, it had a metal flavor to it and I wanted to know where to find it. I sent a note to the guy who made it on DeviantArt and he hooked me up with the site with a listing of all the music he's used for the episodes. I found that the Doomsday was done by Project Chaos and I had to have it. I was pretty entertained.

What's super Mario Bros Z you ask? Well its basically a Mario Bros and Sonic the Hedgehog sprite cartoon that has the characters racing to collect the Chaos Emeralds before Mecha Sonic does in a very Dragonball Z esque method. The combat is HEAVILLY influenced by DBZ and a lot of the music is even drawn right from the show. Cool stuff.

So I hit up the project chaos website and listened to every track they got listed there and I was pretty impressed, now its like a daily thing that I have to listen to some of their music followed right behind by some FullMetal Alchemist OST Music right after. I guess its my way of keeping Alex and Athena around.
