i have to laugh..
you never know when you will be needed...and i am thankful for the coolest friends ever! the Lord is OH so good to me. but He is also hilarious...let's talk about that.
so i get a phone call from one of these cool best friends tonight:
- answer the phone--"hey, what's up? ...what are you doing?"
-"james, i need you to pray [insert situation] and i'm freaking out!"
-" [hesitate] like right now, or like in general?"
-"um, kind of NOW!"
-"ok, hold on, i'm in walmart...ummm...let me go to the fish section, no one's ever there...keep talking til i get there, i don't know where it is." (ps. who puts the live fish next to the health and beauty!?!)
-"ok, found the fish, here we go. [breathe] 'Lord...' (you get the idea...)
i mean, God created it all, and the veil was SO rent, so why can't He turn any place that He wants into a holy of holies.. i mean, we marched right up to that throne...with the goldfish and some shoppers looking on. praise jehovah! amazing, caught off guard, but amazing...
these are the most precious times we have..raw and bare before the Lord. there is nothing better than a spur-of-the-moment worship session by cd in my pitch black room at like 2 in the morning. if i want to jump, i can do it. if i want do dance around like an idiot, i can do that, too. way cool stuff. and speaking of that, i recently re-discovered my darrell evans cd. ok, "i can't get enough of you" (or whatever that song is called)=good stuff. i remember why i liked that song so much--because its like 10 minutes long and half of it is just music. glorious.
well...i must depart, long day of class tomorrow and i have to sleep a little more to psych myself up because the weather it H-O-R-R-I-B-L-E here.. just plain gross. blessings to all.
