Do you want to see a picture of, like, dirt? Or road signs? Or anything at all?

OK, um, I know it's Friday evening and all, and sometimes LJ is a vast wasteland of nothing on the weekend, but I finally have a minute to post, and I am choosing to post and say ( Read more... )

Ok I'm requesting a picture of your dinner tonight AND as a bonus question, where you do most of your computing from. :)

My dinner tonight, sitting on the step in the front hall, where I placed it while I finished paying the nice young man who delivered it to me.

Right, so, um.... See, last fall I bought this laptop. And, uh, life has never been the same since. I pretty much spend all of my downtime in bed, now. I eat here, I sleep here, I watch TV here, I am online here nearly every hour that I am in my home and awake. Note the CD binder full of old Farscape discs that I hauled out so I can take episodes on vacation and rewatch for vidding purposes (::hangs head:: See, there's this idea I have, and..*sigh* DOOMED! Pity me.) Note also the Entourage DVDs that are coming on vacation to distract me, two of my four remotes, my iPod, a stack of VividCon vidshow playlist spreadsheets, my camera's original packaging peeking out of the Best Buy bag, my cell phone (tuckrd in the corner of the CD binder), a box of Q-tips and my alarm clock.

Thanks for taking these! Your computing space/sleeping area looks very very comfy.

(I am very excited about your Farscape vid!)

Interesting textures. It's one of the things I love taking pictures of myself and enjoy looking at other folk's ones. Bricks, grass, water, clouds, fabric, fur, whatever, just close up enough that what you get is texture rather than form.

Oh, my. You've created a monster with this one, sweetheart! Lots of textures coming. Some form crept in, but the emphasis is on texture. Thank you for the great suggestion!

Thank you for the great pictures! They're making me very happy; they're just the kind of things I adore :-) I really like the variety, too.

Ooh awesome! How about all your books, dvds and music? Your favorite spot to sit in, the most beautiful part of where you live and of course any animals that happen to pass your way. Anything inside your place would be good. A glimpse in the life of you is always nice :)

OK, so, I've lived in this apartment for more than a year, now, but I mostly haven't unpacked, so all of my books (except recent purchases), all of my CDs, and half of my DVDs are still in boxes. That said, I do still have a few pictures for you. See below.

I don't think you can do this one immediately, but how about that outside sitting place at work--like, the view from it. :)
