So, I saw that Korla updated and it inspired me to do the same since I haven't posted anything in about two years! Like Korla, I still check things out frequently and I love seeing all your lovely life updates!
Things with me are wonderful! I am finally living in California again after being gone for almost 13 years. My job (I'm a store manager for a tea company) moved my fiance and I out here so that I can open a new store here in Santa Rosa in August. Since I moved, I've been making an awful drive down to a different store 5 days a week to run that but there is now a light at the end of the tunnel! Only 13 more days until I start recruiting and stop commuting (you see what I did there...). So my car, my wallet and I are all thrilled about that!
My fiance, Sean, and I are finally full blown wedding planning! We're getting married on May 4th of next year. We're having a very small celebration with family and a few close friends in my brother's backyard. It's perfect for us because we're both really laid back anyways and the thought of a huge ceremony with a million people watching us is highly overwhelming for us both. We're doing it on the cheap, too, because we do not want to go into our marriage with a load of wedding debt so go us!
In order to get ready for the wedding, we've been really changing our lifestyles and becoming a lot healthier. We've each lost about 50 pounds and we are still going. I'm doing Weight Watchers (which I love) and I recently decided to switch to a vegetarian diet. He is doing the Paleo diet (completely the opposite of being vegetarian) so we rarely ever eat the same things but we are both losing in our own ways so we're good with that.
I am the happiest that I have been in a long time... Maybe ever. I think about my high school experience so much and I know how lucky I was to have you all as part of it. I miss you guys a lot and I know that I wouldn't be the same person I am now if I didn't go through everything I have. I'm loving just living my life with Sean and being near my wonderful family, my 2 and a half year old niece and my niece and nephew on the way. Things are great and it seems like, for the most part, that's the general consensus with everyone, which is fabulous!
Now it's everyone else's turn to give us the update! Ready... Set... GO!!!
