Finally working out again

So, due to the aggravations of the last month or so, I engaged in way too much emotional eating and due to Dartmouth messing with my mat times and location, I didn't work out much either. The downside of all this is that my endurance has gone down, and I gained around 15 lbs.

Last night I FINALLY was able to run class (and since it was small, I got to work out a LOT) and my gods am I sore today! It's a good sore, but it still hurts. It's just another sign that I need to keep pushing myself until I'm less sore each day.

Presently I have the goal of getting back down to around 15% body fat (which means losing around 20 lbs.) and really increasing my strength and overall heath and power.

To that end, I'm doing Tang Soo Do Tu, Th and Su (and I'm GOING to make sure I get my own time in to work before or during class) and strength training m, w, f. We'll see where it gets me, but for now it means that I can get nice and warm every day of the week and be able to stretch and work on my flexibility (which also needs improvement).

I've also been given some skills to work on, namely keeping my form and momentum when combining kicks together. So, I've been researching hard combinations that will push my endurance and skill level. I'll post the interesting ones here.

So... time to get in really good shape again!
