The Kosciolek Family 2010
Hello from Blairstown, NJ. It’s been a busy year around here! Steve is still working for Huron Consulting and will be spending most of the upcoming year commuting to sunny California. He’s still our Ace of Cakes, though. Maybe you’ll get to try his Christmas Village creation this year! Gingerbread, cake and candy -- yum!
Sandy is in her second year of teaching at Reverend Brown Memorial. In addition to K-8 science, she’s now teaching middle school math. Fun! Sandy still loves to garden, and she’s hoping to start a small orchard this year. She feeds her creative side with scrapbooking and papercrafts, often with the girls at her side.
Caitie is excelling in second grade and loves school. When not concentrating on her studies, she’s spends time as an amateur geologist, budding seamstress, and pint-sized thespian. Caitie made her on-stage debut in a recent production of “The Jungle Book.” She played Shere Khan and terrified the audience with her tremendous roar!
Gwen is in her final year of pre-school; kindergarten can’t get here quick enough for this little sister. She loves singing and crafts, but nap time is “boring.” Gwen is well known around town for her big smiles and even bigger hugs. She’s a feisty one, full of energy, humor and joy.
The furry parts of the family are doing well. The feline family members -- Rascal, Goober, Creamy and Buddy -- are champs when it comes to laying in the sun and sleeping. Meanwhile, our dog, Dude, is a considerably more excitable and active member of the clan.
We’re all happy, healthy and, hopefully, a little wiser than we were last year. What more could you want from life?
Best Wishes & Happy Holidays!
Sandy, Steve, Caitie and Gwen!
