Now I just need to find some music these guys played so that I can give it to Cameron so he can listen to some guys who have some attitude.
He played this really cool, slightly distorted yet clean guitar part that was soooo incredibly cool. AND he hates it. What is likes is a lead guitar part that sound exactly like the rhythm guitar. Now, I need to convince him that the lead needs to be a completely different sound. Hence the examples above.
Not to mention Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Neal Schon, Jeff beck and the like.
