the world is fucking gay
so i learned something today.... this world is fucking ridiculous! today shane was told that he isn't allowed to donate blood or plasma. now, one has to think, there's got to be a good reason for this, right? low iron, or at least something along those lines. NOPE. he can not donate plasma because he is bisexual. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! now, let's see..... do they have a logical reasoning behind this? NOPE. their reasoning is that hiv can lay dormant for years being undetected, therefore if you've ever had relations with the same sex, you are not allowed to donate. now, let me think here, as far as i know, STRAIGHT PEOPLE CAN GET HIV TOO! seriously, how homophobic can you really and truly be?! i know, if it were me or one of my relatives dying, and they needed blood or plasma, i don't give half a fuck if it comes from someone who is straight, gay, or likes to have sex with ferrets! they did a blood test on him and it came back negative! he's just as clean as any straight person who walks into that clinic! yes, everyone has a right to their own opinions, but you DO NOT have the right to discriminate against people due to sexual orientation! this whole shit is ridiculous! it's obscene and so not right that i can barely even wrap my head around it.
