Yes, I know that
Kawaiikaylee already posted a Cruxshadows concert recap, but I feel that she missed a few things.
The first opening "band" was a guy with a laptop, a keyboard, and some other sound equipment. He played some industrial/techno stuff. The first song he did started with a creepy little girl voice singing Itsy Bitsy Spider. At this point in time, Martha, Kawaiikaylee, Kiki, Kiki's group, and I all started doing the appropriate hand motions. The "dancing" during the first act just went down hill from there. The dancing included, but was not limited to, the hand jive, the macerena, and disco moves. Kawaiikaylee was the instigator of the whole thing.
The second opening act has improved substantially from the first time we saw them two years ago. They did a nice cover of Message in Bottle.
EgoLikeness was great. Martha bought their CD. I like the female vocalist. She had a kinda smoky voice during most of the songs, then would suddenly sing a strong clear note that just kicked ass.
Cruxshadows was great. They played Monsters, Eurydice, Deception, and Marilyn which made me very happy. The crowd was unusually small. I hope they still come back next year.
P.S. I got a second interview with GE. I have to drive to Greenville, SC on the 16th and have an interview at 7:15am on the 17th. Now I need to go get ready for my interview with Siemens (GE's number 1 competitor).
