I have a fractured foot.
Argh! Why now when I have soooo much stuff that needs doing: Moving House, job interview for a permanent position, stressed dog who needs love and walks and who is now afraid of my crutches and my thumping around the house and a lizard who decided to chew off half his tail on Christmas Eve!
Spent the night before New Years Eve in the Emergency Department while they decided they couldn't find an Orthopedic Surgeon on a public holiday, then got sent home with a temporary cast. I'm waiting on a call from the Surgeon's rooms to find out when I can get an appointment. Better be this week - I'm over the whole deal already.
Wish I knew who I pissed off to cop this all now....I'm sure a few beers or a bottle of wine would make it up to them.
