this makes me very happy. in this one, kirk's face completely betrays his love. gaah, how cute!
i was doing some research on soka u, where i will attend. some student reviews led me to do some research on soka gakkai, the organization which built soka. buddhist, of course, but some critics say that soka gakkai has cult characteristics, like oneness with the mentor. living where i do, and having gone to a buddhist school albeit of a different sect, i have some asian perspective on this matter, and can identify it; it's not so foreign to me. but these statements were backed by soka gakkais involvement in politics. and, the organization has been accused of being violent. how fascinating! now, there is potential that i will attend a university intent on finding the next buddha, and raising spiritual and political leaders with the organization's agenda at heart (to take over the world, of course.) looks like i have one-upped tanaka in my plan to take over the world, since UH Manoa certainly does not have such a curriculum. ohohoho.
