is difficult. aulden hates kurran, and kurran reciprocates. this puts mom in the middle, with more tension than i care for. luckily, i am not usually a part of it, though i give advice once in a while to each of them. i could fix the problem if they would be open to change, and could stick to it. argh.
anyway, this could result in kurran and i going to germany to visit uncle alexi for a couple weeks. i of course tagged along, because who is going to miss a trip to germany while it is still being payed for by someone else? i know that sounds selfish, but it is merely a possible positive affect of all the problems going on around here.
the other day, while i was at tripler hospital, an alarm went off, and white lights all along the halls were going off, accompanied by a siren sound. i immediately thought this is just like on the USS enterprise (dork that i am), and lo and behold someone gave a warning and directions. it was exciting. i think i might enjoy a life of military-like formality and rule, but only if i was in a high rank with command powers.
