[Yeah, but Piers definitely has to do a lot of adapting because his shio is vastly different from a wind based ship, but he likely can do it with the basic knowledge he appears to have.]

[And there's a pause as Piers looks them over, they seem easy enough to understand and it looks like he may be able to figure out easily enough how to build the sails just fine as long as he can find out what sort of fabric to use. In fact, it bears some similarity to Lemurian ships, so it's very doable. Looks like he'll be doing some more research in the library to fill in those gaps.]

Looks like a good and solid design that I'll be glad to be a part of building.

So, you have an idea what kind of materials we might need?

I do have an idea. What I'm the least sure of is what sort of fabrics would be available here in large enough amounts for something like this. We'd need something sturdy that could hold up to wind and rain and a lot of it.

The other things we'll need the most of is wood and rope. Freshly cut wood is best because once the wood is dried out it becomes brittle and cannot be worked into the curved shapes needed for parts.
