Vesperia No. 20 [Voice (Action for House 12)]
[Today was the first day in a long period of rain. It was definitely wasting no time at all in starting off strongly, as rain heavily beats down on the village, thundercracks booming in the sky. In a word, it REALLY SUCKS outside.
On such a dreary day, it's best to stay inside and preoccupy yourself with other matters. In Karol's case, this means pursuing artistic endeavors, such as carving wooden figurines of people that matter that are important in his life! He's sitting in his room today, with the journal open so he can keep an eye on what's going on in the journal network lately.
Of course, unbeknownst to him, he accidentally turned on his journal, causing it to pick up and record all the scraping his knife is making against the wood, as well as the muttering he's doing to himself.]
Just... make a small incision here... Don't wanna make it too deep... Can't scar his face up too badly or it won't even look right... Yeah... Just like that.. Perfect!
[The act continues on for a bit longer, with various mutterings, until all that's interrupted by a single sound; a particularly large BOOM! of lightning above House 12, echoing through both the village and the journal network.
At the time, Karol was particularly absorbed into his work. He was able to ignore most of the distant rumblings , but a crack of such a loud magnitude takes him completely by surprise, causing him to slip up and emit an even louder sound; a high-pitched (and admittedly kind of girly-sounding) scream.]
EEYAAAAAAH!
[There's panicking for a few moments, and then the mutter of one single phrase:]
O-oh no! I-I-I c-cut off his head! [The recording ends there as the journal falls to the floor in a scramble.
Of course, there's more to this scene, as residents of Vesperia House may soon discover.]
