If you dont want to hear me nerd out over technology stop reading.

I just bought a Playstation Portable (PSP). Holy shit its the greatest thing ever. Why did no one ever think of this before. I bought thinking it would just be a kewl portable game player I could use during down time or when im bored. I didnt realize it can do so much more.

First of it plays games at the same level of graphics as the current PS2 puts out. Which is damn good for a portable.

It also holds up to 2gigs of music and works just like an ipod.

I can also copy DVDs from my desktop computer and put them on the PSP to watch whenever I want.

There are hundreds of online magazines that can be downloaded for free and read on your PSP.

There are hundreds of video podcasts you can download for free and watch.

The PSP has a homebrew program community equal to linux. There are thousands of free programs and haxs you can download, pretty much any application you can imagine.

I just discovered last night that my PSP has a built in wireless card and I can browse internet and play games online, for free, off any wireless network.

In a few months there putting out a GPS accessory that you can use for a small fee (to have it work any time) or free (which only updates if it can recieve a wireless connection).

They are also putting out a digital camera attatchment that takes pictures at 4.5 megapixels.

PSP is the next step. First we had Desktops and where all excited about the freedom and portability of laptops. Now we have the PSP as a free and portable version of laptops. Computer -> Laptop -> PSP. Get one
