I am feeling overwhelmed with politics today and am desperate for an end to the anxiety that happens every single time I read/watch/listen to the news. So today I sat down and put fingers to keyboard and a sermon came out. And it friggin figures - it's about Palm Sunday - no where neeeear where we are in the church calendar - I swear - only I

Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. That was exactly what I needed to hear this morning. We need to be desperate for God's love, the Kingdom. His love brings such healing. We all have wounds to heal... forgiveness to receive (including Mel Gibson). I believe you are in the right direction with this sermon. Someday you will deliver it and people will stand in awe of how filled with the spirit you are. God has blessed you with a great responsibility, you have a liberal heart (like our Lord and Savior Jesus) and you also stand proud of your beliefs. You do not shy away from loving the so called "unloveable" (or as our government would say right now, homosexuals). Jesus loved the prostitues, tax collectors, leapors... what would he say now if he knew how the county founded on freedom was trying to pass an amendment discreminating against 2 people being united in holy matramoney???
