apparently, becoming vegetarian does not make you crave hamburgers and steaks, but rather breakfast tacos and burritos. i've been veggie now for 4 months and all i've wanted for the last two are bean and cheese burritos and breakfast tacos. so i've been alternating, juan in a million, taco shack, whataburger. i honestly don't know how i went so long before discovering the glory that is the taquito (actually it probably had something to do with my 10-year boycott of whataburger due to getting raw chicken strips there twice as well as my general dislike of the flat chopped-lettuce experience known as a burger there). what i've discovered on the burrito front is that jorge's makes the perfect bean and cheese burrito. the texture is awesome and the actual tortilla? best tortilla i've ever had. hands down. the whole experience is transcendent.
in other news, i saw 28 weeks later last night. much more gruesome than the first (i actually went home after and read a vampire book to get the blood and sound of tearing out of my mind). despite the fact that there was a different director, the movie stayed very true to the first. stand out moment? the beginning of the movie. it was the best
opening action sequence i've ever seen. and i even knew it as it was unfolding, thinking to myself wow, this is something.
