i am so done with gilmore girls. i don't want to be done. i want to stay with these characters, and i want things to go back to their blissful fast-talking dysfunction. but ever since they fired the original writer, the whole show seems askew. i just spent one whole hour in which half of the action was comprised of lorelai and christopher staring

thanks. though i don't really agree. veronica has always been the suspicious type, and i think it's a natural continuance of their story: they like each other, he does something way sketchy which she takes at face value and confronts him about and she ends up wrong but manages to end things anyway. i think the plotline is still very much in keeping with the history of the show and the characters. that's the problem i have with gilmore. the current plotlines/character development don't ring true.
