freshly dug potatoes
One of the things on my list of todo's today was check on the potatoes in the garden, too see if any of the plants have yet died back and are ready for harvest. I went out this morning and spent a little time digging in the dirt. The two types (out of about 10) that I decided were near ready, were Yukon Gold and Russian Blue in about 8' of row for each variety, I harvested about 20# of each. Fresh and homegrown potatoes are unbeatable!
