Did I mention the farm acquired a 2 bottom plow and a double disc harrow ? Mmm, instead of months to double dig, the field is almost all ready for planting.
Plowed, disc'd and drug a good many times, now just to amend the soil, then run row strings and rototill. about 1000 onions are almost ready to go in, brassicas are really taking off now that they are out of the greenhouse and into the cold frames, 75+ lettuce has been interlaced (squarefoot gardening) within the already foot tall garlics.
Peppers, toms, eggplants, more lettuce, herbs, all in the greenhouse and started nicely.
Happiness is fresh veggies.
