Name 5 character deaths that surprised or shocked you.
Here goes (in no particular order):
1) Jet from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Let's face it, I was just plain surprised that a children's cartoon actually had someone die. Of course, I liked Jet a lot more by this episode...
2) L from Death Note. Not only was this a HUGE letdown because of my sweet love of L, but his death was so anti-climactic. He didn't get to go out in a blaze of glory, which I found upsetting.
3) Ulquiorra from Bleach. I liked Ulquiorra's character design from the beginning, especially the hidden symbolism behind his name (thanks, misora!). Of course, it was heartbreaking to see his last moments.
4) No. 24 from Venture Bros.. This spoof of Ray Romano was one of two of the Monarch's henchmen who seemed impossible to kill. So, when he died, it was surprising and sad to see it because of his cohort, No. 21.
5) Fred Weasley in Harry Potter. Yet another surprising and sad death. I felt SO bad for George.
