I need to rant. So ya.
Have you ever noticed that alot of kids/people in general are very... how do you say... SHALLOW in this world? And then once you get to know em there's so much more? Honestly, with this world we live in, not much of a surprise.
Anyone who is just a little bit different is cast out. Examples.
In many LJ communities, there are lots of hardcore yaoi and yuri fanpeople, yes? Well, people who don't care for yaoi often get NAILED really hard when they say that. And I honestly can't see why. I have NEVER seen a non-yoai person be all "whoa u iz liek a beetch u liek r doomd 2 heLL leik whoah". But is you say you don't really care for yaoi, you automaticaly damn yourself for the rest of the month. Seriously, WTF? We tolerate that you like it, so tolerate that we don't. GOD.
Point two. Homosexuals and Bisexuals. One of my friends at school (we shall call her "W") said that she had something she wanted to tell me. Then she randomly said "What do you think of lezbians and bisexuals?" I told her that people need to be who they are, so bis and homos should go for it. And ya. She is bi. But if her parents found out they would disown her. I think that's stupid. People are who they are, and no one but them have any right to try and change that. W will be one of my best friends for a long time even is she does like guys and girls. Honestly.
What I wanna know is WHY do people have to be so STUID sometimes? Like, alot of people confide in me, because I don't judge people. Now that W knows that, she talks to me all the time. Some of my friends have actually said that they wish they were capable of not judging. What I don't see is WHY do people need to judge others? Why can't people just learn to live with our differences? The world would SUCK is people where all the same. Think about it. There would be none of those little kwirks that make us all laugh. Sheesh.
I hate that people are afraid to talk about their problems because they think I will judge. And when people like that turn around and judge, then they make me mad and loose my respect. If you don't want to be judged, the DON'T JUDGE. For the love of all things cute and furry, figure it out people. Sheesh.
I despise popular kids. Because in 99.99999% of cases, the person in question is a shallow person who would not lift a finger to help someone because they feel they are better. Because they are skinny and have big boobs or they are good at sports. And then all the people who don't fit the bill just fade away in the backgrounds. And I comend people who have something different about them and they show it. If you'r bi-polar, then be bi-polar, just warn me first. If you have REEEALLLYY bad ADHD, GOOD FOR YOU! I DO TOO! If one of your family members is a drug addict, that's not YOU, that's them. I won't judge you for your families mistakes. I won't judge you even if you are a drug addict. I'll try to help you.
Judging is not worth it. Because, if you are always like that, in the end, no one will be there for you.
