Sucky Day...
Argh!
First, the whole telephone installation at work is fried. Some idiot nicked the main-cable and now the forty+ companies in our building are without telephone or fax connections to the outside world. Which totally sucks when your job is to CALL PEOPLE. Well, at least the Internet still works.
I'm stuck using my bloody cellphone for the most important calls, and otherwise rely on e-mail alone. At least my boss pays for my calls, so it's not that bad.
But I do feel pretty useless without being able to just call people. Which is strange, considering I ALWAYS have to make myself call people in the first place. I'm a rather shy person towards strangers, and calling anyone does not come easily to me. I do it anyway, but each little call is a small victory for me.
And now that I can't, I miss it. Huh.
But, hey, only tomorrow left and it's holiday-time.
Anyway. More news: I'm going to renew my student ID today. Since I'm on a free semester, the machine is not supposed to print a new semester-ticket on it, but I'm gambling that it doesn't know that yet. Rumour is, that thing is a bit behind. *holds thumbs* (if I don't keep it, that means I'll not be traveling much in the upcoming semester at all. No Hamburg, no grandma and most certainly no short visits to the sea/cultural cities/shopping spree to Hannover. *is sad*)
But while we're at traveling: Gonna visit Mea for the next eight days. *bursts with joy*
Expect random updates of silly fluff and happiness! And ru7n from any mad stuff we'll likely come up with. Bwahahahahahaaaaa... (what do you mean, the insane laughter scares you? Oh. Uhm. dealwithit)
