A son with behaviour defects

Dear Journal,
Sometimes it is really hard to know when to step in and when to keep back out of the way with Rex and his behaviour defects..
He really let me and the others here at home know he was flipped off clear and accurately for one times sake, efter breaking up a fight between the neighbours kids.
The oldest of the two stopped but this little rug rat proceeded to chew Rex out and called him a whole bunch of words I won't repeat here.. He repeated and repeated he was going to hit this kid, and I said don't or I will have to tell Anne his foster mom...
The domino effect kicked in, he was furious like a dragon and I had to get on my toes and read the riot act about chewing us others not involved in his problem.
I told him if he needs to talk about the problem he has to keep the chanels of communication open and be respectful to the people trying to give him feed back and trying to help him deal with the situation like a teenager.
His brother tried to smooth things this helped, I also asked the boys involved to play nicely as he was still annoyed at me even when the problems layed themselfs to rest..
I am sitting here knowing how a dragon burn victim feels. Just hang a sign around my neck for sale lol... I am going to eat my lunch and go rip a few weeds out by their necks. Phew!
