VT
Yesterday there was a memorial for the VT people and their families. I am not a religious perosn not a crafty person, so this is probably going to sound wierd. On Monday night, when everything happened, I had a gut feeling that I needed to make ribbons in memory and to show support. I went out and got one roll of each color for VT. I made the ribbons and burned the edges so they would not fray throughout the day. I went to the memorial Wednesday and passed them out. After, I had atleast 20 people come up to ask me if I had more and throughout the rest of the day, more people asked me for one. Basically I got commitioned into making more ribbons. so about 25 bucks later and over 20 rolls or ribbon, I'm working on making more ribbons. The brothers and possibly some other greeks are going to come over on Sunday and help me cut, pin and burn the ribbons. I am hoping to make about 500. I know that is not even close to enough, but it is a start. I will keep going out and continue to buy more if need be because this is important. Something is calling me to do this. Something is telling me this is what needs to be done. Wierd huh? Yup thats it. I'm glad I can help. Well, I'm out! Later dayz!
