Almost cried at work again today. Ma says it's normal to be frustrated and overwhelmed. It's the busiest Tim Horton's in town. And it's a big town I tell you! But apparently the troubles are only the beginning. Watching miss Maria and Dave and all the others working so quickly and doing all of these things at once astounds me and I can't imagine ever doing it myself. Certainly not for minimum wage like I've been doing. And so I've decided to try and find another job. Obviously I'd tell said new job that I'm currently working at Tim Ho's and can't start until I can get through a two week notice, which I would then give to previous job. I never just quit. Never.
But on a lighter side, I had a good laugh today. Worked until 3 for the first time and a lot of the high school kids flooded in just before I left. They were... oh man, they were so ridiculous I couldn't hold it in. Have you seen the outfits these kids are wearing today? The guys were wearing neon colors on half tucked in button up shirts, half tied loose hanging ties, terrible baggy pants, messy hair, and forced Napoleon Dynamite accents. The girls sported low shirts that barely held in their bosoms with open jackets that most likely did nothing to keep those bare chests warm. They had low hanging tight jeans that hide nothing, and flip flops. Like the boys, the girls wear neon colors, not one article of clothing matching another. Man, when these kids came up and ordered their large chocolate cappuccinos (because adults drink cappuccinos, but chocolate makes it hip/bearable) with an apple because "it's healthy" (pffft), I could not keep in my giggles. At one point I excused myself just to go in the back and laugh.
I drew a little bit the other day but no pics of it. I'm tired and being too lazy to go find it right now. I might get on later and put it up though. ^^
