Not that I was cheering for one more than the other, but it would have been nice to call home and taunt at least one of my parents. Dad doesn't care too much, and insists on calling it 'soccer,' but teasing him has always been fun.
Having one parent who thinks she's British an one that was in the US Navy adds a whole new level of excitement to world level sports competitions. I just get to pick whichever side wins as 'my team' when it's England vs. US.
I just wish somebody had won the thing.
