Here I Am!
I’ve officially made it to Liberty! Ya-hoo! Holy cow, though, it’s cold! When I left the Tortola airport, it was somewhere around sixty F. Then I land here and there’s snow! Oh, my gosh!
I’ve moved sort of in to my new apartment (still weirded out that it’s just me without the parents) and I really dig it. I’ve already thrown my stuff all over the place I’m starting to unpack and make it my own. The only thing is, there’s this big stain on the floor tiles of the kitchen area, which I think might be blood. A lot of it. Like, ‘OMG who died’ a lot. Huddy’s terrified of it and won’t go anywhere near the kitchen, but Kisa will happily tromp rtight over it. I’ve been stepping around it. I figure it’s nothing I can’t take care of with some bleach and a mop, but it’s mildly creep-ish.
I haven’t met my neighbors yet, but I think I’m gonna like it here. Plus, I’m really close to the college, which rocks, ‘cause long commutes and waking up early are no fun.
