hey hey, i haven't updated in ages (well no one has really.. cummon!) but anyways today was the last day of work for sam, sachin and i! woot, so happy yet it was kinda sad, i didn't think i would be sad (after complaining so much)... but in a way it is! i'm glad i left earlier than originally planned - it woulda been really weird to be working there without sam and sach! it has been lots of laughs at work though (over silly things.. like billy-no-mates-teachers ;) and the like, haha!).. and rly weird cos we eat in the canteen mostly with all the 6th formers - it's so different not being with all our lot, aww miss those days!
anyway these last few weeks at work have been really tiring working 9-5, although we do get an hour's lunch break and the food is SO nice! mm, today we had jerk chicken, rice and peas and plantain! claps to the new chef!! have seen ashiceta around which is really nice after so long of not seeing her, she's lovely.
hmm so i might as well update from last saturday - went to ellie's house for her annual bbq! there weren't that many ppl there but it was still nice to see those who were, some i hadn't seen all summer like ELLIE, becca, david, louise, rachel, SEDINA (not seen her since oxford!) and Neki, haven't seen him since 6th form!!!! so it was nice to talk to them and catch up a bit. stuffed my face as per usual, so much so i couldn't sleep after coming home - i rly should stop doing that :s
Lord's day, we had the table meeting in plaistow and later on in the evening sarah and lizzy came over for dinner! lizzy did her washing and sarah went online, lol. it was nice to see them, both having a great time in the training - i saw some pics from sarah's comp. they left at about 9.15 as they didn't want to get back too late, but in the end there was a fatality at seven kings and so they had to go all the way back to ilford, get the bus and didn't get home to bower house till 11.20 (some sisters picked them up from romford station).
haven't been doing much reading this week (oops).. but it was a good one, monday evening i did some, then tuesday after work, sam and i went to stratty town hall to give blood! well that was the plan.. we waited for a LONG time, and after all that, when she got checked, poor sammy found out she couldn't give blood! :'( when i went through it only took like 5 minutes - it felt like even less though, and the needle didn't really hurt but when i looked at it i was just freaked out that this big metal thing was sticking out of me arm! lol, afterwards i was expecting to feel quite weird, but i was fine, rested, ate and we went to BK before coming home.
wednesday night was a really good one, brother enroy came for dinner and then we all went to bower house for the evening video message. we got there late cos the food wasn't cooking properly at home, so missed all the singing and the first part of the message (but not too much). it was really really good, the title was Gaining God to be Transformed by God for the Purpose of God, and was touching on the life of Job. it was nice to be able to be in the classroom with all the trainees, there was a good croud of us from East London there - the saints couldn't really go to classes when the training was in Reading cos Heckfield was so far out in the middle of nowhere! after the video and the prophesying, mum and i went back with sarah and the other sisters to the sisters' lounge which is rly nice, we hung out there till about 10pm when we left and they had prayer time. was a rly nice evening out, i wanna make the most of these opportunities before i go back to oxford! :D
last night we had home group here which was really good, very enjoyable and enlightening. why is God 3 and yet 1 at the same time? ask me and the answer shall be given you! sister christina was meant to come (from canterbury) but didn't - hope she's ok, i couldn't text/call her cos i don't have her number.. oh that reminds me, i have some emailing to do!!
