I swore I wasn't going to watch the vote counts, because I was afraid of how it all would go. After burningxhope and fallensteward kept IMing numbers and all, I got swept up in it. I was absolutely sick to my stomach about the whole election. Now we get two years of Republican griping about the election and then two years of election madness all over again. "It's the circle of life, Simba..."
You did make one mistake, if I'm not mistaken: I know Maine and Maryland approved same-sex marriages. I don't know about Washington. Minnesota, however, voted against it. Still, *happy dance* that Maine and Maryland came through?
And *happy dance* that we don't have to deal with Romney or look at Ryan's smirk for the next four years. Honestly, I just look at that man and want to hit him. (Ryan, not Romney. Though, to be honest, I'd probably hit Romney too for good measure.)
AH! Okay. I read that article wrong then... The way it read, it put Maine and Maryland together as approving it, then put Minnesota in its own category and it sounded as if it hadn't approved it. Thanks! :)
The last we heard last night it was still too close to call in Washington for same sex marriage, but it was certainly looking like it would be a 'yes'. :)
