Teddy Remus Lupin
Is it just me, or was that last chapter completely bunk?
Wouldn't it have been loads more satisfying if that stupid flash-forward (PotC3-esque) had been cut out and maybe a more immediate one had replaced it?? Maybe one in which a year later we got a glimpse of Harry and Teddy? Wouldn't that just round things off a little better. I mean, stop me if I'm wrong on this, but throughout the last three and a half books, Harry has been happier and more even more depressed where his own god father was concerned than he was about his parentals.
Seriously. I think JKR could've done an immensely better job of squeezing Remus' and Tonk's offspring into that last chapter than mentioning him snogging Bill and Phlegm's daughter. (that's just my assumption as James calls her his cousin [which would fit through the Ginny/Ron/Bill side] and the name sounds French[ish])
Am I the only one who thinks the godfather thing would've made a far better ending??? Full-circle and all that jazz?
ps. But seriously, I loved it, numero uno on my list, still followed closely by PoA and HBP....
