an actual update!
So I had a really good weekend. Katie, Adam, Asana and I all went to Ann Arbor for the (sometimes) monthly Wizzy Wigs trip. I actually showed major restraint and only spent ~$5. I got a chibi Sasuke keychain and I wanted the Sasuke figurine but it was pure chance and I ended up with Iruka. *sighs* At least it wasn't Konahamuru, so it could have been worse.
Then we went to Plymouth, headed to the Japanese bookstore, and market, where I bought onigiri and discovered I'm not a fan of those red bean paste, sweet...things. Lol, I can't remember what they're called. Soo, after hitting some thrift shops looking for cosplay materials, we journeyed back to Katie's and got dressed for dinner. At her country club! It was very fun, (and completely awesome of her dad), but it was kinda depressing when I'm walking into the club and I see, in succession right next to my Saturn, a Benz, a Beemer and a Jag. Lol, it was like those segments on Seasme Street where they showed you 4 things and asked which one didn't belong.
Katie: Some of those shirts you gave me the link to are hilarious! I especially love the "I turn them gay" and the "Write it, Wench!" ones. Of couse the /happy and Slashers B-ball shirt were awesome too. Can you imagine wearing those to class? How many questions/weird looks would we get? OH, and you know how I think '(I hate) Everything About You' is the ultimate Sasunaru song? I found a pretty good AMV to it, so me=happy!
