Mm, well, don't let my interpretations change your mind or anything (because I'd love to know how you imagine them!!! and I love to talk!!!) but I believe that after the events that happened the facility shut down. With so many runaways, the government started doubting what the establishment was trying to do (which could be building/creating human weapons or making a super-human species!). They shut the establishment down and all the boys who had survived long enough - because I'm sure there were casualties during the process - had to assimilate back into the real world.

The three mains get by in their new life. Due to the drugs and chemicals, Kyung requires more time to get better and heal; the other two definitely outlive him, but he manages a prosperous, happy life anyway - much better than the fate he had if he remained in the institution! Yukwon gets his freedom, and he does what he can to work. He does a bit of work here and there that involves hot temperatures, welding and engineering and etc. The house is always kept cool for him, and during the night he keeps Kyung warm in the bed. Jiho does the best at getting back into the real world because he doesn't have any handicaps. He handles two jobs because he can do the work quickly and efficiently, and it means more money for the other boys. They do odd jobs that require no education/degrees because the boys know the bare minimum (basic math, languages, etc etc etc)

The other four stick together. Taeil has it the hardest due to the experimentation :'( Assistant Doctor takes care of them the best he can. Minhyuk and Jaehyo find temporary jobs; they work in restaurants, cook and waiter, or Minhyuk works as a butcher. Jihoon stays with Taeil and keeps him company; every so often they visit the sea and Taeil swims for a few hours to keep his body hydrated.

Um, sobs, that was a lot of text! But I'd love to know what you think happens to the boys :D ♥

hmmmm....well one thing is I think once they were out, they went straight to the media, though probably anonymously. I have a feeling that Jiho may have taken some proof with him because while he wanted to help their friends, he didn't want to put neither Kyung nor Kwon in the position to be hurt, especially Kyung, who's already weak.

The good doctor was probably completely open and willing to help, especially to help the others live a normal life.

Jiho is indeed the breadwinner, but I think that Kyung does something similar to IT tech or something where he can work from home, but the others always try to bring him out to like, a nearby park to get some sun and air and Kwon works seasonally because winter is just too hard on his body

Ooh that is a nice angle! I feel like, maybe, if they did seek out the media they'd want to make sure they had everything. So maybe once it was shut down, the remaining boys (and maybe, if they can locate Hanhae) would try to make it known what happened. But, yes, I can totally see that - and the part about Jiho I really agree with!

I'm sure that Assistant Doctor was very resourceful and helpful in the assimilation process because he can monitor their health and keep them under control until they can learn to do that for themselves! :) And yes, I'm sure that Kyung does get some sort of job that will put his intelligence to use, but like you said it would have to be from home so that he isn't exposed too much and weakened. I like the thought of them being a family - going to the park, pushing each other on the swings, out to the store together, fitting in despite their differences! :) And yeah, I'm sure that Yukwon spends a lot of time inside during the winter months, and maybe during the too-hot summer months because too much warmth may cause his body to overheat!
