A bead of sweat rolls down from Jiho’s chin and into the corner of his eye; Kyung scrunches his eyes shut in hopes of blinking it away. “Fuck, you’re raining on me.”
idk about these silly boys but I'M NOT CRYING IT'S JUST RAINING ON MY FACE but really this whole thing made me wibble and tear up and cry a little i'm so in love :'(

Kyung’s never actually heard him speak till now, but the sound is unexpected and warm. Jaehyo laughs at himself, and such a self-deprecating sound does not suit his idea of Jaehyo
jaehyo is warm and wonderful and self-depreciating :'( he's a dumb baby that i love and want to love forever :c but sobs at kyung's idea of jaehyo and thinking he's standoffish when he's just a big gangly marshmallow :C

His fingers itch to reach up and help him calm his wayward locks, but he stands firm.
this is a lovely and cute image in my mind. i can only hope that kyung has many future opportunities to straighten out jaehyo's hair and clothes ;_;
“Here.” An orange slice fills his vision, perched between Jaehyo’s fingertips, and Kyung bites his bottom lip and glances to his left. Jaehyo smiles at him and waves the orange slice a bit in his right hand. There is orange peeling beneath his fingernails and the tips of his fingers smell like citrus juice; Kyung accepts the offering with his head bowed.
jaehyo really is orange-hyung here SOBS but really this is so sweet and cute ;; i just remember that ep of match up returns now with jaehyo eating all the oranges and being a nomster and just. i cry. sharing oranges and shy smiles at a bus stop in uniforms ;_; otp.
He smooths down his sideburns, and Kyung’s grip on his phone tightens

sometimes Jaehyo smiles his way; sometimes Kyung waves discretely, hoping Jaehyo sees it.

It’s oddly intimate, the way their chests press together, and Kyung had never known how tall Jaehyo was in comparison to himself; the top of his head hardly skims Jaehyo’s shoulders, and Kyung stares resolutely at a button on Jaehyo’s shirt and ignores the way his skin seems to prickle and shiver every time Jaehyo breathes out, warm and damp, against his ear.
i just. love this bit so so much? i can see this being a scene that repeats every now and then even after they're together, just with more tiny smiles and hands steadying shoulders and soft talking and looking at each other :')
"You might like it,” he finishes off, sheepishly touching the back of his neck.

Jaehyo nods, but whatever he is about to say is lost on Kyung’s ears as the gunshot pierces the air and all eyes turn toward the track.

The rain continues to hit Jaehyo in the shoulder, staining his green jacket darker, and Kyung shifts the umbrella closer to Jaehyo. Water droplets drip from Jaehyo’s bangs down his nose and catch in his eyelashes. Kyung doesn’t know how to read a mood or if there’s a moment, but he feels like if there was any time for him to say something to Jaehyo, now would be it.
this was just so pretty and lovely and i held my breath in anticipation ;__; i just love this so much.
A feeling pools in his middle with this knowledge that he holds. With every “Kyungie-yah” and wave and “good morning” and smile, the feeling grows until his little heart is stumbling to keep up.

It’s later, when Kyung is picking his bike off the ground and Jaehyo is hovering awkwardly at his side, that Jaehyo kisses him, soft and slow, just a touch of lips and nothing more. Kyung’s left reeling, lips tingling, long after Jaehyo draws away.

i was looking through some of their old interviews and things, and jaehyo mentions that he has a ~reversal charm~ and all; he looks cold at first but then they get to know him and see that he's really just awkward and sweet and far too endearing :'((( idk. that's where i got the idea for that part. ig i wanted kyung to at first idolize him? and then realize there was more than meets the eye? :D cries, outtake, kyung says "jaehyo-hyung is clumsy" and jaehyo thanks him and takes it as a compliment. sobs.

freeze is still my jam, ok :( i always go back to it and look at them and sob a bit. but yes yes yes to all things about jaehyo!!! he really is just some ridiculous and clumsy prince charming :( he's adorable, really, in the end :(

jaehyo was like. really fucking hot in freeze ok idk whether it was the hair or just the way he was styled but like HOT DAMN MAN and then tell them happened and match up and bfualjikjalsikjaflaks clumsy charming prince hyo for the win u___u
I WANT IT TOO n____n they can always be awk with each other but it fits ok THEY FIT EACH OTHER SO WELL + more bus moments and all kinds of moments ok :c cycling together or something and visiting and and and ;__;
your dialogue was perfect u_u do not worry! it added to the mood! and i as i read this again and again, the narrative became more like kyung's thoughts (his thoughts about jaehyo's personality, not confessing at opportune times, etc), it was easy for me to read it like a manga? in faded thought squares/bubbles and just. i love how it translated that way to me :')

he was styled so nicely in freeze era ok. that hair. that outfitting. they can go back to that and i will cry tears of bloooood. of course, he did have more sex appeal to me then than he does now I AM SO SORRY JAEHYO BUT I WILL NEVER BUY INTO YOUR COLD BUSAN MAN APPROACH EVER AGAIN it only took me a few seconds of getting to know them and now jaehyo's image is shattered. such an attractive boy /pets him. he's such a dork, omg. but i love him.
jaehyo's bike probably has a tiny seat now; one where kyung can sit while jaehyo pedals and kyung can hold on and sit sideways and be dumb. :c :c :c. our otp is going to be the end of me ok i swear. gjfkljgisdfcnxmkfklfj!!!!!!!! they do fit each other well though :(
thank you!!! i wanted the dialogue to ... match the mood/setting. so making kyung refer to jaehyo as "jaehyo-hyung" while speaking to him and the silly new year's wishes and even "kyung-ah/kyungie-yah" (which i never ever do omg ;u;) and just some of the turns of phrase were a bit new to me! ;_; so i hope i didn't butcher your idea of jaekyung in a boy love manga at all with that. sobs. also i apologize for so much zikyung :<

freeze era, ohhhh. my good looking namja~ sobs not that he's not good looking now but back then he had his whole intense look going on (pretty sure it had to do with his hair and eyebrows) and now he's just 113% dork n__n
wow crying so much at the bike image hflkajlksjk jaehyo has an old bike that probably belonged to his mom or something with a basket on the front where they stuff their bags. kyung can hold on and cling. there should also be a scene where jaehyo walks home but kyung bikes one day and gives jaehyo a lift. too cute ;A;
