(no subject)
Well, i believe everything happens for a reason. I believe that there WAS reason I got out late today. I could have gotten out an hour earlier, but because of problems with a fellow co-worker and friend, I decided to stay and help then give her a ride home.
This put me in the right place at the right time.
Okay, so maybe I'm making too much out of this but I have my fingers crossed and they will stay that way until further notice.
I ran into an ooold co-worker from Best western. (Dana, remember when we went to mongolian grill with that girl and her boyfriend?) yea, her. I drove by, thinking 'that looks like...' and she smiled at me! So I knew it was her I pulled over and gave her a hug and talked to her and her boyfriend for a few minutes.
She's working over at Silver reef casino(lummi) and she said a few of her co-workers were quitting soon, leaving a spot open for a cash cage. Or something like that. She got my number and told me she'll call me with information.
It starts out at $9.50, great benefits and it wont be so scary cuz i'll be working with an old friend. OOO I'm soo excited! Plus they make mad tips. She was saying that she makes around 90 bucks in tips A WEEK. depending on things.
Her boyfriend also works there, he's a dealer. He makes 40,000 a year. Now i would love to do that in fact there was a blackjack school at skagit i was considering. (its like a week or two corse to teach you eveyrhing you need to know) So there's always that. But for now, this is exciting and I have my fingers crossed for the best. Sure it's a little ways out there but I'll survive the 20 mintue comute. (is that right? Ive only been out there twice)
